The TB and Migration Group is Growing

The Union TB and Migration Working Group Board is comprised of 3-10 members who oversee and drive the activities of this working group. Together, we have organised online workshops on topics such as “Internal migration and TB contact tracing”, “TB in conflict situations” and wrote policy documents, such as “TB and COVID-19 in migrants - the need to focus on both conditions”. The group is comprised of members of different backgrounds, expertise, and cultures, working together to drive the best TB health outcomes for migrants worldwide.

The Union TB and Migration Working Group is looking for new members.

Activities include:

  1. Participating in monthly meetings

  2. Discussing ideas for knowledge transfer, including (online) workshops, group papers, symposia

  3. Collaborating with other Union working groups and sections and with non-Union partners relevant to the TB and Migration working group

  4. Actively engage the community of members through symposia, newsletters, and website content
